why bodyweight workouts DO NOT build size…

You ever wonder why it seems nearly impossible to gain any real mass with bodyweight workouts?

I’ll tell you why…

The only way we can ensure that we are building as much muscle as possible is if we maximize MPS (muscle protein synthesis).

Studies suggest that muscle protein synthesis is more than doubled at about 24 hours following an intense training bout.

However, it has been shown that we can only expect a significant elevation in MPS when trainees are working with 70-90% of their 1RM - while MPS was considered “negligible” in trainees who used 20-40% (bodyweight).

Fact is, training with your own bodyweight, alone, will never allow you to push 70-90% of your 1 rep max.

But check this out: discover how to equalize the MPS response with bodyweight workouts

Do this on your last set of each exercise to build muscle with nothing but your own bodyweight.

Keep training hard,
