12 virtues

And who you are is your character; it’s the virtues you hold true to unflinchingly.
Are you tough, gritty, and courageous, or are you a quitter, a snake, a cunning coward in the grass always looking for the easy way out?
I know you want more from life, we all do.
But this pursuit isn’t won by buying a book in the self-help section, it’s won by becoming someone greater man than where you are now, what you have now, and the standards you currently hold yourself to.
I’m sure you’ve heard the John Wayne quote,
A man’s gotta have a code, a creed to live by.
Each of us is searching for or creating a foundation, a code whether we’re aware of it or not.
Our code, however, is incomplete, it’s theory, or it’s made up of experiences we don’t completely understand and haven’t fully deciphered.
A firm code is what’s missing from most of our lives, a clearly defined creed that helps us live an elite life, not merely one filled with grand intentions and well-meaning effort.
Who among us, however, has such a code?
We’re not taught the virtues of manliness that make up such a code in school, actually, today we’re taught the contrary, the feminine virtues, soft love, caring, compassion, not the love that defends and defeats evil, but the one that approaches it with compassion.
It’s this code, this set of virtues and rules that I’ve been studying and searching for for years that makes up an elite man, and elite is what we all need to be.
You’re on this newsletter because mediocrity is your enemy.
You want to become stronger so you train using techniques that help you accomplish this goal faster and more effectively.
You want to have more energy, to be healthier hormonally, so you eat to boost your testosterone levels and you remove testosterone-killing products from your house.
But everything you want in life, be it the adventure, the money, the success, the career, the wife, the ladies, the experiences, the physical strength, is dependent on this code that defines who we are in times of struggle and prosperity.
The code that the elite man brands into his soul (article)
You are your virtues.
You are your habits.
The problem with most programs is that they theorize what you need to do to reach higher and further, but that’s not how men learn.
We need to be challenged.
We’ll cover how and why next time.
