That we should pass on them after a dinner...
That they contain too much sugar and that they'll make us fat and rob our energy…
Now while that's true for most "regular" desserts, there are plenty of healthier and tastier alternatives that are so good for you that you could even have them breakfast...
Here's an example from my buddy Yuri's new All-Day Energy Diet Community Cookbook…
(Notice that there's no gluten, dairy, or even sugar - yet they taste surprisingly good…and they're good for you)
Healthy Black Bean Brownies
Makes 9 brownies
1 can of BPA-free canned black beans
1⁄4 cup melted coconut oil (or melted butter)
1⁄4 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp erythritol
A pinch of sea salt
3 lightly beaten eggs
1⁄2 cup dark chocolate drops
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch pan.
2. Place the black beans, oil, cocoa, erythritol, vanilla extract and salt into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
3. Fold in the eggs and chocolate drops. Mix well.
4. Pour into the pan and bake for about 20 minutes. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting, or eat straight from the pan!
