Don't be a sissy...

Usually I'd say don't be a sissy in the gym.
There is one exception.
When you're doing the Muscle Beach, Sissy Squat.
Ever tried it? Or even heard of it?
All the old school, classic bodybuilders used to do them.

I have no idea why it's called a sissy squat when it's so freaking hard
to do. One guy on our facebook page says it's named after the
Greek Myth of Sisyphus. Vince Gironda popularized a barbell
version of the above exercise, but the one from our new 101 Pro
Bodybuilding Tips book showcases the bodyweight version.
Tom Platz loved this exercise too. He had what many consider
bodybuilding's best quads. You really feel the quads burn on this
exercise.
