60% of the U.S. adult population is now.... [ fill in blank ]

People have been asking me,

"Mike you're the bench press guy that likes preaching about powerbuilding
and teaching people how to build muscle & strength.  What the heck are
you doing coming out with a book called, THINK! and Lose Weight?"

Good question and here's my answer.

Through the years of my life I've tried quite a few physical activities.  As a kid
I always loved sports and played football in high school, college and after
college.

I've been into bodybuilding, powerlifting, messing around with strongman.

Recently I even got into adventure races.

How am I able to be successful at so many different thing in fitness?

It's not because of the program, sets, reps or rest periods.  It's because I've
made the choice to excel.  It's because I have taken personal responsibility
for what happens.  If I don't get the results I want, it's nobody's fault but
my own.  I am not a victim of circumstances.

By choosing to have this train of thought it has become easy for me to
develop good habits that support my goals.  Once you have good habits in
place you reach your goals 100x's faster instead of falling off the wagon.

Most of the people on this email list are of a similar breed.  Most hard-core
serious athletes think this way, which is why I enjoy designing workouts for
elite level trainees.

The newest Critical Bench Publication, THINK! and Lose Weight shares this
winning mindset and way of thinking.  Although it teaches the habit of weight
loss the lessons can be applied to anything you want to achieve in your life.

But there's another side to my life, as I"m sure there is yours, I associate
with  neighbors, friends, church family and relatives that are facing a huge
struggle with losing fat.  This new book THINK! and Lose Weight is
dedicated to them.

They'll ask me, "Mike, how do I lose 25 lbs?  Is there a special diet, fat burner
or food I should be eating?"

Usually I get a disappointed look when I tell them the age-old advice to
exercise and just get proper nutrition.

But if that's all it takes, why is it we are getting fatter as a society each
and every year?

A full 60% of the U.S. adult population is now considered overweight. Americans
spend over 35 billion dollars each year on health and weight loss related products.
By all appearances, it doesn't seem to be working.

The reason I think it's not working is because we've got it all wrong. People see
weight loss as something they work at for a little while and then, whether they reach
their goal, or not, give up.

That won't work.

Weight loss must become a habit for it to last.

And that's why I decided to publish,
THINK! and Lose Weight:  The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Weight Loss ---<< 50% Off

If you follow the steps laid out in this book until they become habit, you won't have
to worry about weight loss again.  The Law of Cause and Effect is applied to your
advantage here. If you take specific actions, you will get results.

We struggle as a society with weight loss because people attempt to combat it
with short term solutions.  Obesity is not a short term problem.

We must get to the root of the problem, which is our behavior toward weight loss.
Successful weight loss is 80% behavior and only 20% "know-how."

The age old advice of "Eat 'right' and exercise often" falls into this "know how"
category and by itself rarely gets the job done.

The answer, of course, lies on the "behavior" side of the plan. Once you begin
to change your behavior for the better, you will also begin to change your
outcome. By changing your behavior the positive steps you take will become habit.
Weight loss follows as a direct result of that behavior.

You have the power to decide what your life looks like. You must be willing to
demand more from yourself than others would demand from you. You can start
by making better choices about how you eat, live, and exercise. The result will
be a greater physical and emotional self than you have ever experienced before.

After all, changing your outside for the better goes hand in hand with changing
your inside for the better.

I'm not sitting on my high horse preaching here. I've been in your exact same
shoes and I've come out on the other side.  Follow me and let me share with
you 7 Habits of Highly Effective Weight Loss that will change your life FOREVER
like it has mine.
