A few hours ago I sent an email about how I thought I saw

Venus crossing the sun yesterday.

 

I have been informed by some friendly and unfriendly readers
that I was mistaken because that is going to happen today. 

Nobody knows what the heck I saw yesterday.

 

Sorry about the confusion, it was an honest mistake.  

Goes to show I should stick with muscle building science

and not astronomy :)
